Presets are a starting point and although these do a great job of being pretty near to one-click - they're not a magic fix. You'll still need to adjust white balance, exposure, and skin tones depending on your lighting and gear. These are built to give you a consistent base to work from - with lots of flexibility for your unique editing style.
